Workplace violence has been escalating in recent years.  The impact on an employer is staggering, ranging from lost productivity to
management distraction to employee injury and turnover to defending and settling lawsuits.

Supervisors, managers, and other leaders need to understand the warning signs of violence, and how to properly handle situations as
they arise.  That is the purpose of “Violence in the Workplace”.  Handling threats, stalking, assaults, intimidation, property damage,
battery, racial or cultural epithets, swearing, and other forms of violence are the outcome of this powerful presentation.

This session focuses on ways to identify, report, and prevent workplace violence.  Participants will have a hands-on experience through
interactive lecture and role play to deepen their understanding of this important issue.

What you will gain
In this session we will look at:
  • Examples of violent behavior
